The Fredericktown Freddies defeated the Ontario Warriors 63–36 in a girls varsity basketball non-conference game.
The match was held on January 28 at Ontario High School.
According to reports, Fredericktown’s balanced scoring and defensive pressure limited Ontario to just 36 points. The Lady Freddies took an early lead by scoring 17 points in the first quarter and maintained consistent scoring throughout the game. Mya Bryant led the Freddies with 15 points, contributing significantly to their extended lead through strong defensive efforts. Ontario faced challenges in the second quarter, managing only three points, which allowed Fredericktown to dominate the game.
Fredericktown is set to host Colonel Crawford in another non-conference varsity girls basketball game on February 4.
In their previous encounter, Fredericktown lost a road non-conference game to Colonel Crawford with a score of 48–39 on February 5, 2025.
