The Fredericktown Freddies secured a narrow victory over the Northmor Golden Knights, winning 45–43 in a girls varsity basketball game that extended into overtime. The match took place on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Fredericktown High School in Fredericktown, Ohio.
According to the game’s report, the contest was part of Ohio high school girls basketball conference play. In a tightly contested battle, Fredericktown emerged victorious after trailing early in the game. The Golden Knights initially led with an 11-12 advantage at the end of the first quarter. However, the Freddies responded by outscoring Northmor 10-4 in the second quarter to gain control. Despite Northmor’s efforts to regain momentum in the third and fourth quarters, forcing overtime tied at 43 points each, Fredericktown executed crucial plays during overtime to clinch a 6-4 win.
Mya Bryant played a pivotal role for Fredericktown with 14 points and five rebounds. Ella Bouton contributed significantly with 13 points and six rebounds, while Gracyn Toombs added seven points and an impressive 14 rebounds. Although Northmor demonstrated resilience throughout the game, they were unable to overcome Fredericktown’s balanced attack and composure in critical moments.
Fredericktown is set to face Licking Valley on Saturday, December 27, 2025. The game will take place at Licking Valley High School in Newark, Ohio, with tip-off scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
Earlier this year on January 25, Fredericktown had defeated Northmor with a score of 48-32 in another girls varsity basketball encounter held at Fredericktown High School.
