Fredericktown Freddies defeated Northmor Golden Knights 59-41 in an away conference boys’ basketball game.
The game took place on Tuesday, January 6, at Northmor High School. Fredericktown controlled the tempo throughout the match. The Freddies built an early 16 to 10 first-quarter advantage and extended their lead to 28 to 21 by halftime. According to reports, Fredericktown pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Golden Knights 17 to 11 to take a commanding 45 to 32 lead. The Freddies sealed the 18-point triumph with a 14 to 9 fourth quarter, showcasing balanced offensive execution and solid defensive pressure throughout the contest.
The next game for Fredericktown is scheduled against Danville for a conference matchup on Friday, January 23, at 7:15 p.m.
Previously, Fredericktown faced the Golden Knights on January 31, 2025, where they fell short with a score of 66–47 in Northmor’s home conference win.
