Fredericktown’s strong regular-season performance encountered a setback with a 51-41 loss to the Fairview Warriors. This defeat marked the Freddies’ second consecutive loss after an otherwise solid season.

The playoff game was held on October 31 at Fredericktown High School.

According to reports, Fairview employed a balanced offensive strategy, led by Burke Lowry, who threw for 322 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes. Lowry’s performance has been a crucial factor in the Warriors’ success, as the team remains undefeated when his passer rating reaches 100 or higher. Will Allen also played a significant role, accumulating 72 receiving yards and scoring a touchdown.

The loss brought Fredericktown’s record to 8-3, while Fairview extended its winning streak to seven games, improving their record to 9-2.

Fredericktown has no further games scheduled this season. In contrast, Fairview is set to travel to face Triway at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Titans have allowed just 14.6 points per game this season, presenting a formidable challenge for the Warriors’ offense.
